Workshops

Combining the thrill of acting with the benefits of role play, our workshops encourage teamwork whilst helping to improve confidence and communication skills as groups work together. Design, art and craft skills are developed by puppet making.

Themes

Our creative workshops can be structured around any theme or topic – a great way to raise awareness or educate on particular issues, or simply to embrace a specific place or location. Current themes are “Climate Change Awareness”, “Stop Bullying”, “Our Soil is Alive” and “Christmas Wonderland”.

Why use shadow puppets?

Shadow puppets are magical and visually engaging, and by using puppetry are able to break down barriers and invite individual participation. The silhouetted characters are easy to relate to which in turn encourage viewers to use their imagination.

Through a mixture of drama and humour it is possible to convey some serious issues whilst keeping the overall tone light.
